Who is the Foundry for?

Filmmakers who are already making things — directors, writers, producers, DPs, editors, content creators. Early-career through working professional. We care about your character, not your resume.

How do I get in?

Apply with the button above — we've tried making the application as painless as possible. We review on a rolling basis and cap the room at 150 members, so it stays a tight, curated room.

What if I'm not selected?

You can re-apply anytime you wish, whenever you feel like you have additional materials to share. We also host monthly public "open house" events — come say hi! Dates are on Instagram + Newsletter.

Can I bring guests?

Every member gets +1 to the micro-cinema, and the monthly "open house" is open to the public. Collaborators can purchase day-passes to co-working areas by contacting hi@thevandalist.com.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Monthly is month-to-month, cancel anytime. The founding annual is refunded in full if dissatisfied.

Where is the space?

Lower Manhattan. We're finalizing the lease now — founding members get the address, and a say in how the room gets built. Stay tuned for additional locations in the future (like LA)!
